Description
Nic Goodwolf is a German born, Tasmanian based artist. His work deals with the notion of home, and its relation to migratory human experience.
Goodwolf’s most current body of work evolved after undertaking a residency in Sicily and Florence in 2005, funded by the Claudio Alcorso Foundation. Sicily has been shaped through the forces of migration throughout history, particularly after World War II when it experienced a mass population exodus. For this reason Goodwolf was drawn to the island for his own artistic research.
