Norman Lindsay

Norman Lindsay is one of Australia’s most well-known and greatest artists born in Melbourne VIC. Through his technical abilities to draw he became a cartoonist for the Bulletin magazine. He painted nudes, wrote childrens novels such as ‘The Magic Pudding’ made into sculptures. His major works consist of ink drawings, watercolours, etchings, and oil paintings which are all represented at ‘Springwood’¬† the Norman Lindsay Gallery and Museum.

His artwork is highly collected and many works reside in within private and corporate collections. Many of his novels have a frankness and vitality that matches his art, especially to that of his controversial nudes.
